OAR- Jefferson Area Community Corrections is dedicated to providing safe, evidence-based and cost effective alternatives to incarceration for Central Virginia.  

We provide pretrial investigation/supervision, community correction, specialty Courts and dockets, and reentry services.  As a private nonprofit organization, we apply for and receive funding from federal, state and local governments, private foundations and local donations.  

We are pleased to receive funding from all 9 localities that we serve.  (Charlottesville, Albemarle, Fluvanna, Goochland, Greene, Louisa, Madison, Nelson and Orange)
